My name is Kyla Jo, and if you want to see me smile, just let me pet your dog! I absolutely love the outdoors, live music, exploring, taking walks with my 2 girls (Lilly & Rory)…OH and GARDENING! You will find me in my yard, growing flowers and making bouquets (probably eating radishes and arugula right out of the ground).
Wendy’s chicken nuggets and grilled shrimp are my go to food, a Diet Pepsi is always in hand, and you will see me wearing jeans 99% of the time. My music taste is all over the board, but mostly playing 90’s hip/hop, hard rock, Drake, and now the Bluey soundtrack (“mum” life).
I have two daughters Lilly and Rory. They keep me busy when I am not photographing/editing. They hang out at the studio with me while I am cleaning up and setting up for sessions, and make great test subjects for photo ideas. I have always wanted to be a mommy and they are more perfect than I could have imagined!
Okay, I have to share a little bit about my fur babies: I have a 12 year old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix (Kip), an 18 pound Maine Coon Cat (Mugsy), a 1.5 eared cat (Lil Dipper), a 1 year old kitten (Roo), Koi fish, goldfish in our pond, and a turtle!
I have lived in Delaware County, Indiana my entire 31 years of life. I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Photography & Intermedia Art at Ball State University, where I graduated in May of 2017 (any other BSU grads here?).
My goal is to serve you and your family throughout your entire life’s journey together, create timeless images that will hang on your walls, and be brought out at all the family gatherings for grandma to OOH & AAH over.
