Come along and walk through this beautiful blended family session in Muncie, Indiana. Mike was my volleyball coach freshmen year of highschool, 16 years ago! What!!! That makes me feel so old, these twins were little boys running around the court after practice and Kiley was a little girl practicing alongside us. I LOVED getting to capture this laid back family who just went along with the two little ones and what they wanted to do. Mike told me I was the most patient person ever, but in all honesty when kiddos have this much fun during their sessions, it makes my job of capturing them SO MUCH MORE FUN! Yes I got a workout, but you can’t fake this session! Just scroll and laugh along at all of their facial expressions. THIS IS WHY I DO WHAT I DO! Yes these smiley posed ones are beautiful to have and hang on the wall, but the candid ones are memories that we create and I get to freeze in time. IT’S LIKE MAGIC!

I have known Kyle since our days at Wapahani/Selma and my mom went to school with Olivia's parents so it's so neat to see them be the best parents ever to sweet adorable little Vivian. I am so happy that I could capture your little family this spring. Mini sessions may be short and sweet, but I am so glad that I get to offer them to so many different family's that I may not have captured a full session for.

I have captured both of of daughter's monthly photos for their first year of life and it is so sweet and precious to see them change and grow their first year of life and see how fast it goes. It is also sooooo heart breaking to see how FAST they grow. I am glad, as much time as it took to capture those photos, that I took the time to take them. Luckily you, as the parent and not the photographer, just bring your kiddos and I will capture them.

Minnetrista Muncie, Indiana Family Session in the Spring (with their dog)

This family traveled from Ohio to see their daughter graduate from Ball State University. I captured Hannah's graduation photos and then just a couple days later captured these family photos. Each of their kids traveled in from a different state and their grand-dog came from out west. He was the sweetest and so well behaved. (BRING YOUR DOGS TO YOUR FAMILY SESSIONS, and NEVER APOLOGIZE FOR THEIR EXCITEDNESS... I'm just as excited as they are!)

I love connecting and having such deep conversations with my clients at their sessions. Learning about their family and where they came from, what they do for a living, and their why's in life make me happy.

Milestone and Family Photos in the Portrait and Lifestyle Studio

I have been photographing this little family since mom and dad's engagement photos at Minnetrista. Both of their boys are so stinking cute!

I got to capture little bro's milestone photos in the studio and we started with some family photos first. I love that my studio allows for lifestyle photos and portraits in the same location. I also can do outdoor photos in the evening and photos in the portrait studio if anyone ever wants a variety of indoor and outdoor photos with a beautiful outdoor wooded area and some gorgeous sunsets peaking through the trees.

(P.S. The portrait studio is where all of my backdrops are and my lifestyle studio is where the bedding, curtains and chairs are.)

1 Year Milestone Photos - Icecream Theme Cake Smash

I captured this sweet little girl inside her mama's tummy over a year ago and now got to capture her Ice cream themed 1 year milestone photos in the studio. What a fun theme!

That cake was absolutely beautiful, and it went perfect with my sweet ice cream and cake themed backdrop. Mom brought the cutest outfits and props with her too.

Sometimes I just click with a family, and we talk the entire time through out the shoot and then stand and talk way after the shoot is over. This family was one of those times. I absolutely loved capturing this beautiful momma of 5. I can not wait to photograph their sweet babe when he/she arrives. The 4 older kiddos were so much fun to photograph and dad had me cracking up with his stories. Seriously LOVED THIS SHOOT!

My lifestyle studio holds more people than I thought it ever would, I am so glad that mom wanted to shoot in the studio with the whole family.

Up In The Clouds - Kid's Styled Shoot

I am so excited to be able to announce that the UP IN THE CLOUDS children’s styled shoot is now available to book. I have limited spaces available, and can not wait to shoot more of these sessions. It was literally the best time shooting these two little cuties in this creative set up. I loved being able to take my passion of photography and love for art and design and combine the two to create this styled shoot for adventurous kiddos. These are great for kids who can sit up on their own up to any age, girls and boys.

I provide the pilot caps, toy planes, vintage props for all ages, the set up and each client receives a styled guide with TONS of links for outfits that match this styled shoot. I also will send my clients a Pinterest board with inspiration for outfits. Pinterest Board

Valentine's Day Minis

Valentine’s Day minis were full of puppies and girls and it was so much fun!

I even had to jump in front of the camera for some 26 week maternity photos and use the Valentine’s Day set up.

We shot half of the photos in my portrait studio with the pink savage backdrop and red helium balloons, and the other half in my lifestyle studio next door with the pink velvet couch and my favorite floral wall.

I loved incorporating my love for flowers in with the pops of pink and valentine’s day theme.

23 Weeks with Little Baby Norris - Lifestyle Maternity Photos

23 weeks along with Little Baby Norris, I decided to capture this time and the size of my belly in my lifestyle studio. I spent several hours with a tripod, my camera, and self timer app capturing photos to document this time. I give props to anyone who takes self portraits regularly, I am going to need to find an easier app to use with my camera haha.
