Becker Maternity Photos in the Lifestyle Studio

Sometimes I just click with a family, and we talk the entire time through out the shoot and then stand and talk way after the shoot is over. This family was one of those times. I absolutely loved capturing this beautiful momma of 5. I can not wait to photograph their sweet babe when he/she arrives. The 4 older kiddos were so much fun to photograph and dad had me cracking up with his stories. Seriously LOVED THIS SHOOT! My lifestyle studio holds more people than I thought it ever would, I am so glad that mom wanted to shoot in the studio with the whole family.

Valentine's Day Minis

Valentine’s Day minis were full of puppies and girls and it was so much fun! I even had to jump in front of the camera for some 26 week maternity photos and use the Valentine’s Day set up. We shot half of the photos in my portrait studio with the pink savage backdrop and red helium balloons, and the other half in my lifestyle studio next door with the pink velvet couch and my favorite floral wall. I loved incorporating my love for flowers in with the pops of pink and valentine’s day theme.Take a look at these adorable pups and their sweet sweet humans.

23 Weeks with Little Baby Norris - Lifestyle Maternity Photos

23 weeks along with Little Baby Norris, I decided to capture this time and the size of my belly in my lifestyle studio. I spent several hours with a tripod, my camera, and self timer app capturing photos to document this time. I give props to anyone who takes self portraits regularly, I am going to need to find an easier app to use with my camera haha.

Meghann and Shibu's Indian/American Wedding

Meghann and Shibu had to reschedule their 2020 wedding 3 times. Last year they decided to elope with just the two of them, their 2 officiants and photographer (me). I met them in downtown Indy and we captured their intimate elopement at the park and then photos on the canal. It was beautiful! They still wanted to have a wedding celebration and ceremony with their friends and family and it finally got to happen. Meghann's brother was not able to be there because of deployment, but they made sure to include him by video chatting him during the reception and letting him make a toast in front of everyone as well as leaving him an empty seat with his shoes and name tag at the ceremony. Their wedding day was absolutely beautiful and they are THE ABSOLUTE MOST SWEETEST laid back humans ever! Thank you for letting me capture your first AND second special day.

Maggie's First Birthday Shoot in The Studio

Maggie was the most expressive happy little girl in the studio, then we brought out the cake and things got real serious! She dug into that cake and it was the cutest thing to watch. I love that I captured mom and dad's wedding and now got to capture their little one year old.

I LOVE CAPTURING MILESTONE SESSIONS!

Minnetrista Spring Flowers

While awaiting my Mother’s Day Mini Session clients yesterday, I took my 35mm Nikon Lens and captured some of Minnetrista’s beautiful spring flowers. It’s been a while since I have captured something for myself and it made my heart so happy. I came home edited some of my client’s photos and then threw a handful of my flowers into lightroom to edit and share with you all. I am a firm believer, especially the longer that I run my business, that you NEED to shoot for yourself not just others. I am so excited to be growing my own wildflower garden this summer for Cory and I’s wedding, I have added on to my flower garden in our side yard and will be growing all kinds of flowers for our wedding. I will also be photographing them with my newest lens, that allows me to Free-Lens shoot. I AM SO EXCITED TO TRY IT OUT HERE SOON, for now enjoy these spring flowers!
