Makinsey & Mason’s Halloween wedding was perfectly FANCY & SPOOKY. These two are the most unique free spirited people and they make me smile every time I am around them. We captured photos of the two of them and their two doggos a couple years ago, then their engagements earlier this year. I was so excited when they told me they were getting married at the Neidhammer on HALLOWEEN! The Neidhammer offered gorgeous walls and high ceilings, brick and layered old paint. Makinsey and Mason added such gorgeous details to their venue, a casket ring box, custom jean jackets, a light up neon sign, dinosaur masks for their entry, and even a black garter! I can not wait to get ALL of their photos back to them, because there are so many personal images for the two of them that I could not share that they will treasure for forever!

I was laughing and smiling the entire day from behind the camera, jamming out while getting ready, bouquets getting thrown in the air during bridal party photos, kissing and cuddles from Hunter and Addison, and such a beautiful day for a wedding! So many special moments, their preview had me smiling while editing remembering back to their wedding day.
Read MoreI absolutely loved capturing Makayla & Joe’s wedding day at the Delaware Country Club this September. They were the coolest and laid back couple ever. Their first look was stinking adorable, their ceremony was held during a golf tournament and the two of them could not have cared less who was around them, Makayla & her dad’s father daughter dance had everyone smiling and cheering. Makayla & Joe are made for one another and I loved being able to capture their love for one another and their family’s love for them!
Read MoreDanielle & Mason were married on Saturday January 4th at church and had their beautiful reception at the Van Buren Event Center in Columbia City. The two of them wrote the sweetest love letters to one another and read them aloud to each other at their first look at a little park under some tall pine trees. I had an amazing time capturing their love for one another throughout the entire day.

From the moment I saw these two together, I knew they were meant to be. They love one another so effortlessly and that showed through in all of their wedding photos. It was reallllly windy and chilly out on their wedding day, but Austin Burton wrapped Ariana up in her coat and carried her from spot to spot, he played her a song on his guitar, and admired her the entire day. I have known Austin since we were young, and this is the happiest I have ever seen him. Congratulations you two on a beautiful wedding, and future together! Thanks for being such troopers in the cold and making me ohh and ahhh over you guys all day!
Read MoreRuthie & Anthony were married at The Carriage House of Yorktown, and it was such an elegant and classy day with such beautiful fall weather. Ruthie had such a special way of including her father and mother in her wedding day. She did a first look with her dad after her mom helped her into her wedding dress, she did a dance with her dad and then surprised her mom with a special dance that brought her to tears, and both parents gave such sweet speeches at the reception. It was an amazing day at such a gorgeous venue. All of the bridal party were so much fun to work with and so supportive through out their special day. Thank you guys for having me capture your wedding day and also having the photo booth at your reception, you have so many fun photos from all of your guests! Congratulations and enjoy your honeymoon!
Read MoreDanielle & Drake were married on October 5, 2019 at The Barn at Cottonwood in Parker City, Indiana. They are high school sweethearts and had the two most adorable doggies who were included on their special day. Their bridal party was so much fun to photograph and a huge part of their day. I think I laughed and smiled more at their reception than I ever have before, the dance floor was full almost the entire time! Thank you Danielle & Drake for having me capture your wedding day, I might have went a little over board with your preview! Woops!
Read MoreAriel & Matthew Brown's wedding was held at Meg's Country Celebrations last Sunday and the rain did not stop us from capturing gorgeous photos of their special day. They decided to move their ceremony inside the barn, but as soon as it was over the rain cleared up for beautiful photos. The two wore their Vans on their feet and a smile on their face the entire day. They kissed a million times and it made me smile each time, seeing their love for one another so apparent! So many special dances were held in that barn during their reception and Baby Shark was even played for all of the little ones! Congratulations to Ariel and Matthew on your wedding, and thank you for having me capture it!
Read MoreKatelyn & Jacob’s wedding day was absolutely gorgeous. Their venue was amazing with their ceremony right in front of a huge willow tree and an arch way her dad made for her. Both of their families were so supportive and sweet, their bridal party was so much fun to be around, and her best friend Dixie (her doggy) was next to her all day. It was a magical day with her gorgeous dress and smile and their love for one another. I was so so happy to capture their special day for them! I can not wait to see what their future holds for them!
Read MoreEmma & Brandon drove from Ohio to scout out some wedding venues and had me capture their engagement photos while they were visiting! As soon as they walked up, a dog was running loose, so I threw my camera down and went chasing it (naturally). After the dog was safe and back with its’ owners, I introduced myself. Within just a few seconds, Emma looks down at my insulin pump (if you didn’t know already, I am a type 1 diabetic and have been for over 17 years) and says, “are you a diabetic?”, and raises her shirt to show me her dexcom sensor! Automatically we connect, because if you are a type 1 diabetic and see each other in public, you are automatically best friends (if you didn’t know that, now you know!) After we talked a while about our dead pancreases, we began shooting at Morrow’s Meadows! These two were so naturally in love, I asked them about how they met and they told me they met on Bumble. She told me that on Bumble, the girl has to reach out to the guy, so she made the first move. I told her about how my boyfriend and I met, and how I walked up to him and shook his hand and said, “Hi, I’m Kyla, what’s your name?” I had such blast capturing these two, and their love for one another! They were so cuddly and cute while bumping hips and almost knocking each other over, cuddling on a log and telling their own inside jokes to make each other laugh.
Read MoreMaplewood is home to Dan & April (when it comes to golf courses), they spend their free time playing in golf leagues, vacationing at golf resorts, and even got engaged at a golf course! I am so happy that I got to capture their engagement photos at such a special location. Congratulations to the two of you on your engagement, I can not wait to capture your wedding this summer at the same special place!
Read MoreDanielle & Mason are the sweetest couple, they drove about an hour for me to capture their engagement photos, and were so adventurous during their session (which I appreciate so much!) I love being able to capture my wedding couple's engagement photos as well, that gives us some time to get to know one another and get to know each other's personalities. After our session, they told me how happy they were that they had found me (which makes me so happy to hear).
I always try and make our sessions fun with cuddles and giggles. I will give my couples different scenarios to act out, which usually results in the best natural laughs EVER! This couple did every impression and scenario the best I have ever seen, they had me giggling behind my camera even and saying aww! You can really see their love for one another in all the smiles and sweet moments that I captured.
Here is just a sneak peek at your many photos! I am so excited to capture your wedding next year, YAY!
Get you a man that looks at you like Devin looks at Leah! I loved being able to capture Leah & Devin’s second wedding reception. It poured rain on my drive there and snowed about 2 inches on my way home. Somewhere in between Indiana’s dramatic weather, we got about 40 minutes to capture family, bridal, and couple portraits outside! The Cope Environmental Center was such a modern and unique venue, I loved the modern architecture and the natural light pouring in from outside. These two are so sweet and laid back, and have so much love for one another. Here is a large sneak peek of their family portraits, couple portraits, and a few details from their wedding reception.
