Riley With Her Dog Gypsy
I got the opportunity to capture Riley, who is a senior at Yorktown high School graduating this Sunday. Her momma wanted a session with her 12 year old dog Gypsy, so that is what we did! I absolutely love being able to capture pets in photo sessions. When I was a senior in high school, I lost my childhood dog, Biscuit to old age. That previous summer I had had photos taken in my backyard with him and those photos mean the world to me. Being able to look back at those images, after he was gone is so special to me, and I will hold on to those for the rest of my life.
Kellyn, Christian, & Finn (The Doggo): Mother's Day Minis
So when I was in preschool we passed the microphone around the stage at graduation and told the audience what we wanted to be when we grew up, I said "I want to be a veterinarian when I grow up!" Then nervously passed that mic to the next kid. I later on learned that veterinarians had to put animals down when they were sick or old, so I changed that dream real quick and just decided I would own all the dogs and cats I could. Now that I am doing my dream job, with several animals of my own, I get to photograph the cutest doggies ever, and it makes my heart so happy!

2019 Easter Minis
I held my first year of Easter minis in the studio, and am so happy with how my backdrop turned out. I used a Fancy Fabrics Floor mat, Hobby Lobby faux Grass that I cut in half, a Michael’s Carrot Banner, and Hobby Lobby greenery, 2 moss bunnies, and some carrots from Hobby Lobby as well. A couple of the kids also held my Boyd’s Bear stuffed bunny that I use for my newborns.
Birdie in the Studio
During our session I found out that both Birdie and I have Type 1 Diabetes! She was such a good little model in the studio. Last fall I had captured some photos at Birdie's mom's home and she was running free and crazy, even at 11 years old, so we decided to do some portraits in the studio so that she was little more confined. Birdie's favorite part of her session was all the treats that mom brought her.
Aki & Rizzo - Christmas Chicago Cubs Style
I captured these two FUR-BABIES with my Christmas set-up in the studio about a month ago. Kayla Barta surprised her mom Julie Barton & step-dad John Barton with a photo album filled of photos of their son and grandson, Aki & Rizzo. As you can tell, they are big Chicago Cubs fans.
Leah & Devin // Engagement
Where do I start? The adorable puppy, their sweet love story, or the fact that I ended up with way too many photos of these two! I had such a blast capturing Leah and Devin’s engagement photos at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. I met Leah in Art School (How fitting) and was so excited when she contacted me to photograph the two of them and their adorable puppers. These are just a handful of all of the great shots that we captured on such a cold and icy day, they were smiling and so much fun to work with, the entire time, even after I made them sit right on the icy cement! Congratulations to this sweet couple and I am so excited to see your future together!
2018 Fall Minis with Ashley, Zach, & Dorothy
This is the third time I have had the chance to work with Ashley and Zach! I look forward to every time I get to capture their family photos, the two of them are so laid back and I always have great conversations with them. This is the first time that I got to meet their new puppy Dorothy! Ashley kept telling me that she apologized ahead of time for how crazy she would be, but Zach and her brought the treats and she was absolutely perfect for the camera! I had such a blast with this family, and I can not wait to watch them grow in the future and capture their doggo throughout the years!
Playful Fox & Co. Collab.
I got the opportunity to capture Playful Fox & Co.’s newest over the collar bandana. Yes this bandana is super adorable with an ostrich wearing an ugly Christmas sweater, glasses, and a Santa Clause hat! How cute? It is super durable and made SO WELL! Her website is super cute and clean too, if you are looking for DOG or CAT accessories and toys!
Kip, Carbon, Mugsy, & Lil Dipper
All four of my fur children have very unique personalities and I have always wanted to capture them together in a photograph. So this winter I decided to take "family" Christmas Photos in my in home studio. Let's just say they did not go as planned and it was probably hilarious to watch me try to herd all four of them. The only group photo I got is actually 5 different images merged into one, but I am happy that I captured the ones I did. Here is just a small sneak peek of all of the photos I got that day.
Winter Minis With The Christmas Trees // Heather, Bradley, & Malachi
This mini session had me laughing the entire time, from the little energetic yorkie (Bella) to Malachi laughing and smiling the ENTIRE session! Bradley, Heather, and Malachi were a joy to work with and I look forward to capturing their adorable little family again in the future!
Kip's Christmas Shoot At Whitetail Tree Farms
Kip and I ventured out to Whitetail Tree Farms where I have been doing a lot of family mini sessions and we captured some great shots with his new plaid bandana from CrewLaLa.
Winter Minis With The Christmas Trees // Hailey, Harper & Dylan
Hailey & Dylan brought their adorable dog Harper for a mini session at Whitetail Tree Farm, and we captured so many amazing photos of the three of them! Harper had us all crying from laughing so hard, when she went to go running while on her leash and flipped on to her back, she just could not handle all the excitement of the photo session! I look forward to photographing this adorable family again in the future.

Romack Family Fall Session
Oh where do i begin? The Romack's brought me out to their beautiful barn and old truck and it was an amazing session! The family had me laughing the entire time! The lighting and backgrounds were absolutely perfect, thank you again for a great session!
Gibby // Husky Border Collie Mix
Gibby is a Husky Border Collie mix who was rescued and then brought to the golf course to live a happy life, they adopted him and he is now known as the community golf course dog. He gets to roam the course in the evening and follow his dad around while he works. He is such a sweet dog, who loves cuddles at night and car rides during the day.
Kip's 4th Birthday // Cake Smash
Kip the border collie / Australian shepherd mix turned 4, on June 2nd we had a cake smash and he absolutely loved it! Kip was posing for the camera and is super photogenic.
