Their first look was stinking adorable, their ceremony was held during a golf tournament and the two of them could not have cared less who was around them, Makayla & her dad’s father daughter dance had everyone smiling and cheering. From the moment I saw these two together, I knew they were meant to be. They love one another so effortlessly and that showed through in all of their wedding photos. It was reallllly windy and chilly out on their wedding day, but Austin Burton wrapped Ariana up in her coat and carried her from spot to spot, he played her a song on his guitar, and admired her the entire day. Ruthie had such a special way of including her father and mother in her wedding day. She did a first look with her dad after her mom helped her into her wedding dress, she did a dance with her dad and then surprised her mom with a special dance that brought her to tears, and both parents gave such sweet speeches at the reception. It was an amazing day at such a gorgeous venue. All of the bridal party were so much fun to work with and so supportive through out their special day. It poured rain on my drive there and snowed about 2 inches on my way home. Somewhere in between Indiana’s dramatic weather, we got about 40 minutes to capture family, bridal, and couple portraits outside! The Cope Environmental Center was such a modern and unique venue, I loved the modern architecture and the natural light pouring in from outside. The family and their bridal party were so sweet and so helpful and kept the dance floor full all night! The groom’s mother decorated the ceremony arbor with floral that had looked like a professional florist’s work! The bride’s father hosted the entire event at his gorgeous home. Years ago he had acquired a bottle of Crown Royal that was from the year he was born and told everyone he wouldn’t open it until his daughter’s wedding, the entire bridal party and family enjoyed a shot or two together after his toast to the bride and groom. I am so happy that I got the chance to capture this beautiful wedding and help preserve memories from their very special day!

Read MoreI got the chance to assist this gorgeous wedding this past winter for Kirsten Wray Photography, from the little details to the absolutely stunning bride! The bridal party was the largest bridal party I have ever worked with, a total of 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen. We photographed, grouped, and arranged a total of 22 people, just in the bridal party! They were all a blast to work with, some even were Ball State graduates, like me.
