I offered branding photo minis in the studio, and Rachel with PhotoFourteen LLC booked a session. I had such a great time talking all things photography with her.
Read MoreTITUS is a sweetheart who needs a good loving home! He is so gentle, loving, cuddly, playful, and well mannered! I got to spend a couple hours with him yesterday driving to and from the studio and capturing some adorable shots of him. He listened so well and took the treats so gently, he loved pouncing around playing fetch and was so careful letting me take and throw the toy again! I would take him home in a heart beat after just spending a short amount of time with him, but needs to be the only dog in his home. I promise he will fill your heart with love and affection! Please help find Titus a home, he is currently at Wagglebottoms, where they have been fostering him for a while. Anyone who adopts him, will receive a FREE online gallery with all of his portraits to download and hang all around the house!
Read MoreOH MY, Where do I start? These two boys were so stinking adorable! Aiden was only 1 month old, and was the cutest 10 pound+ newborn! His gorgeous blue eyes, kept looking right into the camera, and I could not have asked for more ( I did not even mind that he was awake the entire session! ) Liam, is going to be the best big brother to Aiden, I hope to see them back in the studio as they both grow!
Read MoreI am so excited to show you this past weekend’s project! I say “weekend project” but I spent about a week painting all of the wood, it felt like it was never ending. We spent about 7 hours in the studio on Saturday and about 8 on Sunday finishing up the shelving and organizing all of my props. This turned out 10x better than I ever expected, I could not stop smiling! If you have been in my studio previously, you are not gonna believe the difference it made, it is so much more spacious and open, and now all of my clients can see the props available during sessions.

Emersyn Mae Pittenger was born on December 15, 2018 at 1:50pm weighing 7lbs 11oz and measuring 21 1/2in long. I am so happy that I got to capture her mom and dad’s maternity photos before she was born, and then 2 weeks after she was born I got to capture sweet little Emersyn in my studio. She was wide awake for about an hour and a half, then fell asleep for about 30 minutes. She was absolutely adorable and so sweet during her session.
I captured these two FUR-BABIES with my Christmas set-up in the studio about a month ago. Kayla Barta surprised her mom Julie Barton & step-dad John Barton with a photo album filled of photos of their son and grandson, Aki & Rizzo. As you can tell, they are big Chicago Cubs fans.

The two oldest children, Raylynn and Raymond JR are twins and both were so sweet and helpful, helping me lay the blankets and helping pose their little brother Lane! We both graduated together from Wapahani and then roomed together our freshman year of college at Indiana Wesleyan, where I witnessed Ben propose to Malory! It was so amazing to be able to capture their adorable family and meet little Charlie for the first time! Charlie was wide awake and so smiley I loved capturing all of her expressions. I had a blast catching up with Malory and Ben and capturing so many cute photos of them loving on each other.

Read MoreSince my highschool senior year when I decided I wanted to become a photographer, I knew I wanted to open my own studio one day. In my head this was such an unrealistic DREAM that I never thought it would actually happen. I assumed that I would be 30/40 years old with kids before I would actually be able to do it, if I could even do it then! After several months of looking at places to rent or buy and nothing seemed to be "just right", I found a space that needed a lot of work but it was PERFECT! After a lot of hard work from Dean, Cory & JR... I HAVE A STUDIO SPACE and a waiting room is in the works! I am so happy with how it turned out, I got to completely start from scratch and pick out the colors, trim, flooring, furniture, and design it to fit Kyla Jo Photography's style PERFECTLY! Thank you to my family who has pushed me and encouraged me to reach for my dreams, for all of the props that they have donated and to all of my clients who have helped me get here! I am so thankful for all of it! I now have an indoor studio space for newborns, children, headshots, pets, boudoir, and anything you can imagine! Here is just a little sneak peek at what my studio looks like and some of the details such as the flooring, paint color, furniture, location, my favorite parts, and some of my props!
