I captured this sweet little boy in the hospital a year ago for his fresh-48 photos. Kim, his momma contacted me this fall wanting family photos and some of just their little Rowan. Melissa & Jason's Fall Anniversary Shoot
Melissa & Jason celebrated their anniversary by having a photo shoot. I met Melissa at Maplewood Golf course, and every single time I am around her she has me giggling like a crazy woman. So you know that we were both laughing throughout their entire shoot! How fitting that we captured them at Maplewood Golf Course, they got all the pretty fall colors!
Halloween Themed Family Session in the Woods
I had the most unique Halloween themed family session in the woods with Sydnye & her family. She dressed up her family in the fanciest black and white outfits and brought candlesticks and an old vintage couch. We carried it out into the woods and captured the most magical family photos! Her sister, niece, and brother in law came along for family photos as well, I will be sharing more photos tomorrow. (There are too many good ones, to pick a favorite!) I also captured some gorgeous shots of just momma, because... I mean, look at her!
Mia's Newborn Session with Lots of Bows
Mia’s family came to me for maternity photos at Minnetrista. I loved working with them and they ended up booking the newborn bundle, so I got to see them again for Mia’s newborn photos in the studio. Her mom came equipped with all the bows, as her first child was a boy. I think she was so excited to dress her brand new babe up in all the girly items. She told me about her home decor and how she wanted a photo to hang in her living room that matched. So I ordered some new red/maroon wraps to add to my collection to fit her exact color scheme. I posed her in my favorite wooden bucket and added greenery around her. I can’t wait to see how Mia’s newborn photo of her in that bucket looks printed and hung in their living room! I love receiving photos after clients order prints from their online gallery and create photo wall galleries in their homes.
Rhys' 1 Year Fall Photos
I have captured Rhys since he was in his mom’s belly. His mom, Kelsey came up with the cutest set up for his 1 year photos. She brought pumpkins and Peter Rabbit props. She even made the pumpkin cake by hand, GO HER! We started his session at Minnetrista in the garden (very fitting for his Peter Rabbit fall themed shoot) and ended at the studio for his adorable cake smash. He was not in love with the taste of cake, but he did like sticking his little toes in it.
Caitlin's Senior Photos - With Her Horses and Dog
Caitlin has two senior sessions this fall, her first was at home with her two horses and puppers. The property was gorgeous especially at sunset. I can’t wait to shoot again next Monday with Caitlin for her second round of photos at Minnetrista and the Craddock Nature Reserve. If you have pets that you want to include in your senior photos, I 100% urge you to include them! When I had my senior photos taken (almost 10 years ago) I included my two dogs and that photo still sits on my shelf today. I lost my collie less than a year later and treasure those photos so much.
Ryder And The Fam in Yorktown, Indiana
I got to photograph sweet Ryder again, after capturing his newborn photos this past spring! His momma and older brother came along too, and they were stinking adorable in their BABE shirts. I captured the first half of their session at Morrow’s Meadows and the second half at Cammack Station with that adorable coca cola sign and red stair case.
Sophia Ireland Senior Photos - Downtown Muncie Indiana
Sophia Ireland is one of my 2021 senior spokesmodel team girls and she has been so much fun to work with this year. She has had some of the most adorable and stylish outfits through all of her photos that we have captured during the team events and her own senior photos. When we talked about locations for her senior photos, she knew she wanted them downtown muncie, and on the parking garage on Ball State’s campus, and railroad tracks! We photographed the railroad tracks and adorable little diner at Cammack Station in Yorktown.

Layken came into the photo studio with her momma for photos of just her. She is absolutely adorable! I designed some flowery, girly, boho set ups for this sweet babe. I love designing the newborn setups uniquely for each client depending on their style and tastes.

I loved having this sweet babe and his family in the studio a couple of weeks ago. Evan had the cutest little cheeks and dark hair. If you are looking to book your newborn photos, I would love to have you in the studio. I have every color wrap/swaddle and an entire wall of props and accessories to customize your newborn session. I love adding new props to my collection, if you have any certain suggestions for your baby I would love to hear them! I book newborn sessions as early as your first trimester, you have the option of booking just your newborn session or a bundle. Bundles include newborn sessions, maternity, and even Fresh-48, 6 month, and 1 year photos.
Addison & Hunter's Wedding at Barn Thirty-Eight
These two know how to throw a party! I was laughing and smiling the entire day from behind the camera, jamming out while getting ready, bouquets getting thrown in the air during bridal party photos, kissing and cuddles from Hunter and Addison, and such a beautiful day for a wedding! So many special moments, their preview had me smiling while editing remembering back to their wedding day.

Elias Jacob Brown Newborn Photos in The Studio
I have been a tad busy shooting, editing, and traveling... but I could not wait any longer to share this adorable little man. I love returning clients! Ariel & Matthew came to me originally for their engagement photos, I photographed their wedding, maternity photos, and now their precious little babe Elias.
When I say that I am a life long photographer, I mean it and I LOVEEEE seeing families grow!
Leah's Senior Session - Downtown Muncie & At Home With Her Horse
I am always down for a unique session. When Leah’s mom told me that she wanted senior photos with her horse, I was like HECK YES! We started her session in downtown Muncie, with the assistance of her mom and 2 younger sisters. Her youngest sister (Paige age 10) brought her camera and shot besides me throughout the session. It was so stinking sweet to see such a young person take such an interest in photography and watching what I was doing. After we left downtown Muncie, we headed to her home in Delta. Their property was absolutely gorgeous, with a large field, her beautiful horse, and an amazing sunset at the end of her session.
Mallory Summers Senior Session - Spokesmodel Team Representative
Mallory Summers is one of my 2021 senior spokesmodel girls, and I have LOVED getting to know her. I have worked with her now three times this year, first at our welcome session, then her senior shoot, and lastly our styled shoot with all the girls. Each senior spokesmodel gets their own 2 hour senior session as well as several other team shoots all for the same price as a senior session. My team of 6 senior girls are stinking amazing and I have loved working with them all and capturing their sweet personalities.
Makayla & Joe's Wedding at The Country Club
I absolutely loved capturing Makayla & Joe’s wedding day at the Delaware Country Club this September. They were the coolest and laid back couple ever. Their first look was stinking adorable, their ceremony was held during a golf tournament and the two of them could not have cared less who was around them, Makayla & her dad’s father daughter dance had everyone smiling and cheering. Makayla & Joe are made for one another and I loved being able to capture their love for one another and their family’s love for them!
Glaze Family Session At Minnetrista
It is always fun to photograph a childhood friend, I grew up in school with Hunter and finally got to meet his wife and daughter! They were the sweetest family to work with. Stefani's sister surprised her with a family photo session for her 30th birthday. That is my kind of birthday present, photos that will last forever.
Senior Spokesmodel Styled Shoot: BOHO PARTY IN THE WOODS
We spent the entire day at the studio for hair and makeup. Kayla Butler styled their hair with their favorite Boho styles (lots of braids and fun curls). Andrea Connelly did their makeup, with natural colors to showcase their true beauty. MY VENDORS WERE AMAZING to work with! While the girls got all dolled up, I captured behind the scene photos of each of them and we jammed out to music. It couldn’t have went better! After showing up at 8:45 that morning finishing my set up from the day before, the girls started showing up at 10 am and hair and makeup started! We finished getting ready in the studio at 4:30 and headed out to the woods on golf carts. The girls faces lit up when they saw the styled shoot set up for the very first time! The shoot included a Belle tent, tall colorful candles, vintage crystal colorful glasses, tons of colorful blankets and pillows, handmade bouquets recycled from a wedding, my fave Target egg chair, an old ladder, and lots of other accessories to make up a boho vibe….
Covid Changing Wedding Traditions (not all bad)
Covid (the most hated word of 2020) has created a lot of new wedding traditions, not all bad. This sweet couple decided to go and get eloped when Covid canceled their wedding plans. We met early in the morning at Minnetrista, captured their wedding portraits just with the two of them, and then they drove away to get married. I actually LOVE that these two did not care about the wedding itself, but instead their love for one another and their marriage.
